Fake Refinery Mandate Letters: How to Verify Authenticity

Check 1 — Letterhead authenticity: call the refinery's official switchboard (publicly listed) and ask trade desk to confirm.

Check 2 — Notarization: a real LOA is apostille-stamped. Fakes use copy-pasted seals.

Check 3 — Allocation reference: real LOAs cite an internal allocation number. Cross-check by ATV.

If any check fails, the mandate is fake.
