EN590 Diesel: Grades, Sulfur Content, and Buyer Requirements

EN590 is the European diesel standard:

    • Sulfur ≤ 10 ppm (ULSD)
    • Cetane ≥ 51
    • Density 820–845 kg/m³
    • Cold flow categorized A–F (summer) and 0–4 (winter)

Country-specific climate grades matter: a Class F diesel will gel in Northern Europe winters. Always match grade to delivery climate.
